At MoneyWellth, we take your privacy very seriously and recognize that you expect privacy and security for all of your personal information, such as contact information (name, email address, phone number, etc.), information about your finances, employment information, insurance information and other personally identifiable information (collectively, “Personal Information”). We understand the need to protect and safeguard the sensitive information we collect about you, and we maintain strict standards and procedures designed to prevent misuse of that information.

This privacy notice (the “Privacy Notice”) constitutes an agreement between you and Aderien, LLC dba MoneyWellth and its affiliates, corporate parent(s), and subsidiaries (collectively, “MoneyWellth,” “us,” “our,” or “we”) and is governed by and part of our Terms of Use. This Privacy Notice applies when you access or use our website,, and any other website we own or operate (collectively, the “Site”), the MoneyWellth web portal (“MoneyWellth Portal”), or our Services. Your privacy is important, and we encourage you to read this Privacy Notice carefully to understand the information we collect and what we do with it.


The MoneyWellth Portal, its Content, and Services, are only available to registered users who set up a user profile on the MoneyWellth Portal. When you set up your user profile, we collect your affirmative consent to collect and process your Personal Information as described in this Privacy Notice. We will take additional steps to notify you and confirm that you agree at different stages of collecting information. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, you may not be able to access or benefit from certain portions of the MoneyWellth Portal and our Services.


This Privacy Notice describes how MoneyWellth collects, protects, uses, and discloses information and data collected and created in the course of your access to and use of the MoneyWellth Portal, our Site and our Services. Please be advised that this Privacy Notice applies to information that we collect:

  • when you visit the MoneyWellth Portal and our Site.

  • when you create or use a user account or otherwise submit your information to us online.

  • when we communicate with you through email and other means.

  • through third parties that we work with to provide our Services.

  • by any other means over the course of your use of our Services.

This Privacy Notice does not apply to information collected by us through applications or content, including any other website, not operated by MoneyWellth.

Collection and Use of Your Personal Information

In general, you can visit the publicly available portions of our Site without disclosing any Personal Information, but the MoneyWellth Portal and some content, services, and areas of our Site are only be accessible to you if you are registered with us and set up a user account.

We will only collect and process your Personal Information if we (a) first obtain your consent or (b) have a legitimate interest in collecting and processing the data to: (i) fulfill our contractual obligations with your company, sponsor, or other organization that contracts with us to provide you with our Services (in each case, your “Sponsor”); (ii) provide you with our Services, (iii) conduct studies and generate Reports for our business purposes, or (iv) monitor or improve the MoneyWellth Portal and our Site.

Information Collected from You. When you visit the Site, you may request additional information about our Services by submitting your contact information, including your name, email address, phone number, as well as certain information about your company and any additional information you choose to share with us. All of this information is provided by you voluntarily and with your consent. We may use the information you provide to us via the Site to contact you about our Services.

Information from Your Sponsor. Your Sponsor has subscribed to MoneyWellth to provide our Services to you as an employee benefit. Your Sponsor provides us with certain Personal Information about you including your name, email address, and either your employee identification number or a username generated by your Sponsor. We collect Personal Information from your Sponsor via a secure data transfer platform. We collect and process the Personal Information we receive from your Sponsor to achieve our legitimate interest of fulfilling our contractual obligations to your Sponsor. We use this information to register you for our Services and to provide you with initial access to the MoneyWellth Portal where you can create a user profile and use our Services. Please note that your Sponsor, and not MoneyWellth, is responsible for ensuring that this Personal Information is collected from you and processed in compliance with applicable privacy laws. Please direct any questions you may have about your Sponsor’s policies and practices to your Sponsor’s benefits administrator.

Your User Profile. When you set up your user profile, we will ask you to supplement the Personal Information we collect from your Sponsor with additional contact information. For example, we ask for your postal code, city and state, information about your occupation and whether you rent or own your home. We collect this information with your consent and with the legitimate interest of providing you with our Services. We use this information to establish your user profile and supplement the information you provide as part of the assessment.

Your Assessment. When you take the MoneyWellth Assessment, we will ask you a series of questions to assess your financial wellness. More specifically, we will ask about your savings, loans, debt, lines of credit, retirement, investments, and insurance policies. We do not collect account numbers or any other sensitive Personal Information about you, your family or your finances. All of this information is provided by you voluntarily. We do not take any steps to verify the accuracy of your answers. We collect this Personal Information with your consent and with the legitimate interests of providing you with our Services and conducting studies and generating reports for our own business purposes. We use the information you provide during the assessment to conduct an analysis of your answers for the purpose of providing you with tailored content and recommending resources to help you achieve your goals. From time to time, we combine your information in a deidentified format with others’ deidentified information to study responses and generate reports.

Your Use of the Site or the MoneyWellth Portal. We use website analytics tools and other technologies to collect information about you from your use of the Site or the MoneyWellth Portal. This information may be combined with other information that you choose to submit to us and may also be merged into aggregate information about Site visitors and traffic. We use third-party analytics tools to distinguish and analyze user behavior.

Log Files. We collect anonymous and technical information from your computer, including your internet protocol address, data about your computer or other device, the type of browser or operating system your device uses, the programs, services, and version of software you use, and the address of any linking site when you request a web page while visiting the Site. We use this information for statistical purposes, to ensure that our web pages will appear and function appropriately on your computer, to determine which site referred you to our Site, and to personalize your access to our Site or conduct our own analyses and research to improve our programs, products, services, and content. If you do not agree with MoneyWellth collecting and using your anonymous and technical information as described in this paragraph, simply discontinue use of this Site or contact us as described under “Controlling Your Personal information.”

Cookies. Like most commercial websites, we use cookies to track use of our Site and our Services. Please read our Cookie Notice more information about how we use cookies.

Social Networking. If you access our Site from a social networking site (e.g., Instagram or LinkedIn), or if you otherwise agree to associate your account with us with a social networking site, we may also receive Personal Information about you from such social networking site. Our receipt of your Personal Information via a social networking site is governed by the terms of use and privacy notice of the social networking site. We may retain this information with the information we collect from you directly.

Other Uses of Your Information. In addition to the specific uses and purposes described above, we might use information that we collect about you or that you provide to us, including any Personal Information, to:

  • to present the Site and the MoneyWellth Portal to you.

  • to contact you by text message to reset your user account password.

  • to allow you to participate in interactive features or notify you about changes on our Site or the MoneyWellth Portal or to any Services we offer or provide.

  • if we believe it is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against persons or entities who may be causing injury to you, to MoneyWellth, or to others.

Payment Information. MoneyWellth does not collect or maintain any payment information on the Site or the MoneyWellth Portal. Please direct any cost or payment related questions to your Sponsor’s benefits administrator. MoneyWellth will never ask for your credit card number. If anyone calls claiming to be MoneyWellth asking for your credit card number, please contact us.

Access to Your Information

Your information will be accessible only to MoneyWellth employees who are trained in the proper handling of Personal Information and assisting you in exercising your legal rights over your Personal Information. We will only disclose, sell, or share your Personal Information or other information:

  • To Your Sponsor: Our contract with your Sponsor may require us to share Personal Information we collect from you with your Sponsor. As a third-party contractor to your Sponsor, the disclosure and sharing of your Personal Information with your Sponsor is governed by your employment or other agreement and your Sponsor’s policies and practices. Please direct any questions about your Sponsor’s access to your Personal Information to your Sponsor’s benefits administrator.

  • To Our Service Providers: We may disclose or share Personal Information to one or more third parties with which we have contracted to provide services to us or to offer the Services you have requested from us (“Service Providers”). For example, Service Providers may assist us by using this information to estimate our audience size, measure aggregate traffic patterns, and understand demographic trends among our users. The use and disclosure of your Personal Information to Service Providers is restricted to performance of such tasks. We require all Service Providers to maintain confidentiality standards that are comparable to those of MoneyWellth. Our policy is to prohibit our Service Providers from otherwise selling or disclosing the Personal Information we provide.

  • As Aggregated Information: We may share or sell reports or studies containing aggregated, anonymous information that includes or is based on information about you to third parties including your Sponsor, our business partners and the public. We take technical and organizational measures to anonymize your Personal Information and combine it with other users’ information so that it does not directly identify you. This information may be used by those third parties for research, statistical, marketing, or promotional purposes. We do not limit the third parties’ use of these reports and studies.

  • To Affiliates: We may disclose some or all of your Personal Information with our parent company, subsidiaries, joint ventures, or other companies under common control with us, in which case this Privacy Notice will apply to the same extent it applies to MoneyWellth.

  • For Legal and Other Compliance: We may disclose Personal Information when we believe it is appropriate to: (a) comply with the law, (b) enforce or apply this Privacy Notice or our other policies or agreements, (c) protect our or our users' rights, property or safety, (d) protect our users from fraudulent, abusive or unlawful use of, our Site, or (e) if we reasonably believe that an emergency involving immediate danger of death or serious physical injury to any person requires disclosure of communications or justifies disclosure of records without delay.

  • As Part of Business Transfers: We may disclose Personal Information as part of any merger, acquisition, debt financing, sale of Company assets or other business transaction.

MoneyWellth is Not Intended for Children

MoneyWellth products and Services are designed for adults, not children. No one under age 18 may register with MoneyWellth to access the MoneyWellth Portal, its features and content. We determine the age of MoneyWellth Portal users by asking for each user’s date of birth at the beginning of the registration process. Any user who reports being under the age of 18 will not be permitted to register or create an account with MoneyWellth.

MoneyWellth is dedicated to protecting children online. As such, no one under age 16 may provide any Personal Information on the Site. If you are under 16, do not use or provide any information on this Site or on or through any of its features; register on the website; or provide any information about yourself to us, including your name, address, telephone number, email address, or any screen name or user name you may use. If we learn we have collected or received Personal Information from a child under 16 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information. It is MoneyWellth’s policy to treat your Personal Information with complete confidentiality. We employ commercially appropriate and reasonable safeguards both online and offline to maintain the security, confidentiality, and integrity of information that we collect about you. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural security measures to safeguard your nonpublic Personal Information. We store and manage data in a cloud-based data center that is protected by industry leading safeguards including strong encryption for content delivery and passwords. We update and test our technology to improve the protection of our information about you and to assure the integrity of that information. MoneyWellth maintains internal policies to govern the collection, processing and handling of data, and restricts employee access to Personal Information to an as-needed basis.

We educate our employees about the importance of confidentiality and customer privacy through standard operating procedures and special training programs. We take appropriate disciplinary measures to enforce employee privacy practices.

While we employ reasonable measures to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee that unauthorized third parties will not defeat those measures or use nonpublic Personal Information for improper purposes. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the Site or the MoneyWellth Portal or for actions of third parties. This Privacy Notice applies only to information collected by MoneyWellth. We may provide links to third-party websites from our Site as a service to our users, but we have no ability to control, and we are not responsible for, the privacy and data collection, use, and disclosure practices of third-party websites. When you click on links that take you to external websites, you will be subject to their policies and practices and not ours. We encourage you to review and understand the privacy notices of such websites before providing them with any information.

Controlling Your Personal Information

Do Not Track Signals. Do Not Track is a privacy preference that users can set in their web browsers. At this time, MoneyWellth does not respond to Do Not Track browser settings or signals. In addition, MoneyWellth may use other technology that is standard to the internet to track visitors to our Site. Those tools may be used by us and by third parties to collect information about you and your internet activity, even if you have turned on the Do Not Track signal.

Unauthorized Use. If you become aware of any unauthorized submission of information to MoneyWellth, including children’s information, please inform us by contacting us at the contact information listed below so that we may delete it.
